What an exciting week! On Monday morning there was one chick waiting for us in the incubator. By Wednesday afternoon we had 9 fluffy little ones, and on Thursday two more eggs were starting to crack! As you can imagine the excitement was high. My favorite part of the week was seeing a chick push out of its shell, followed by an eruption of cheers from the kids who were watching.
This is the final blog post of the school year. What a joy and privilege it's been getting to know your amazing children. Thank you for sharing them with us! We teachers are full of gratitude for the time that we've had with this group, and also have loved getting to know you families.
If you're looking for summer activities to do with your children, be sure to check out this Family Resource Calendar.
And don't forget about our end of the year cook out on Tuesday at 5:00 in Wildwood Forest. We'll have hot dogs and condiments - bring a side dish if you like or feel free to come empty handed!
