What an eventful week! Between Rebecca Mouses's babies, our tiny microscope challenge, and songwriting, we've been busy. We'll let the pictures tell the story.
Don't forget that this Saturday is Green Up Day! From Green Up Coordinators: Our annual opportunity to work together and clean up roadside trash is tomorrow, May 3rd, from 8am - 5pm at the Broad Brook Community Center at 3940 Guilford Center Road. If you can volunteer any of your time that day, please stop by! We will have all the clean up supplies you will need, road sign ups, and refreshments.
Our Monday morning discovery in the shed led to LOTS of great observation...
And lots of inspiration too. We've started writing songs, and began with a couple of groups songs about Rebecca Mouse:
Mike joined us to help put music to the lyrics.
Music is in the air...
Meanwhile, we continue to collect tiny things to look at under our microscope.
This vernal pool ditch was a fun place to collect some water samples.
We created a special challenge for YOU families.
Check out this slideshow, and see if the pre-k can stump you...
The warmer weather means more time outside!
Goodbye!
Have a wonderful weekend - maybe we'll see you Greening Up on Saturday!
