Bring on the rain! Can’t stop this group of hearty Vermont kids! This week we started eating snack outside at our woods tables that are now sheltered under a large tarp. Eating outside is calming and fun, and staying dry while we’re eating is especially nice!
The large tarp lent itself to great water play as it filled up and periodically dumped it’s water on our rainy Wednesday. We made a lot of mud soup.
Kids were also introduced to some tools this week. Shovels and rakes have helped kids with some good building and digging projects.
Both inside and outside we’ve been working on routines, routines, routines. Coming to circle and picking up at the end of choice time have been big work this week!
