We’ve had some beautiful weather this week - perfect for fall explorations. Three of our four butterflies have hatched and have been released into the wilds, much to the delight of these curious four-year-olds! We continue to build routines and expectations, and have worked to come up with our classroom rules. They are:
Be Safe
Be Kind
Take Care of our Classroom
Help Each Other
Much of our work this week has focused on sharing. The kids have lots of great ideas about how to share, and are working hard to put their ideas into practice. Sharing will be a big focus of our social curriculum all year!
Our first butterfly hatched while we were out in the woods
Can you see the love in those eyes?!
Beautiful balancing on the dragon tree
Collecting materials for a fairy house
Time for a fort
Check out this great writing!
Preparing for some fairy houses
This will eventually be our fire pit, but for right now it's a great spot for digging
