That Cold November Air

It is so lovely to be able to meet with you all to talk about your wonderful children at conferences. It's been a short week with our half days, but we’ve been having some fun and doing some good learning. Here are some highlights:

-We hung curtains in the woods to create a stage (and also cocoons, as per the creative thinking of your children!) - the performances have been great fun!

-We started a study of bread, making pretend bread and muffins out of play dough, learning how to set a table for a big feast, and taste testing LOTS of different kinds of breads (thank you for sending in samples). Turns out this class loves gluten-free rolls!

-We have a new volunteer joining the class a couple of mornings a week. Julien Von Wodtke is a GCS graduate interested in early childhood education. He’s made some quick connections with  the kids - we’re happy and lucky to have him!

We found a stick that is shaped like the number 4!

Nice teamwork kiddos

We're having a storage shed built out in the woods. The work-in-progress has been a fun place to play!

We learned how to set a table for a feast, and had great fun practicing and playing.

The gluten-free options were delicious

Did you know we opened a barber shop this week?

How much would you pay for a great haircut like this? Our kiddos suggested eleventeen million dollars!
