What a week! So wonderful to meet with all you families about your wonderful children. As always, know that we want lines of communication to remain open for the rest of year, so please reach out if anything comes up.
The mud in Wildwood Forest is the best/worst we've ever seen, and we're having a lot of fun! As you can imagine, some kiddos love to be in the mud while other prefer to watch. We've tackled a whole host of projects in the past week, from engineering with pvc pipes to boat making (thanks to Kristine's quick thinking!) to fort building to cooking (both real and imaginary food).
Enjoy some of the pictures to get a deeper look at the week:
It was so muddy in the forest we had to build a pathway. Kids had a great time figuring out how to make "passing lanes."
Did you know you can even paint with mud?!
There's never been a better time in the mud kitchen. These kiddos are spending long play sessions cooking and creating.
And here's a curtain for a mud show! Lots of smearing happening here.
How do you think these two feel about the mud??
Running through the Great Lake in the field helped clean everyone off (and so did a hose before going inside).
We enjoyed some maple syrup and pancakes last Friday. Ask your child about the secret ingredient. :)
A lot of engineering went into this bridge construction.
It was too windy to go into the woods on Monday so Kristine and Bridget quickly whipped up a fun project: boat building!
The boats were launched in the Great Lake.
