This is it!

What a year! It's hard to believe that we've has such an amazing school year in the midst of a global pandemic. The kindness, curiosity and joy demonstrated by this group of kiddos will stay with us teachers for a long time. We thank you families for entrusting us with the care of your children. They are a bright light in what was otherwise a sometimes challenging and heavy year. We'll miss them immensely!

We'll be sending home personal items and school projects on Thursday and Friday this week.

Don't forget that Friday is field day. Send your child to school with a towel and bathing suit (or IN a bathing suit), and include clothes to change into. And don't forget water bottles this week - it's hot and we're working hard to hydrate!

Enjoy a few pictures from this week, and some from the beginning of the school year as well!

Some home grown tails made from stump bark for these kiddos.

We've spent some time this week finishing up projects. This kiddo is getting his nature print paper ready.

Nature print, exposing in the sunlight.

More nature prints - you'll see them on the covers of your child's self-portrait book!

Some quiet play in the "Eagle's Nest"

Teamwork!

We've been sticking to the shady spots this week.

Dance time!

This year has been an incredible joy, and along with all of the social, emotional, and cognitive growth, your kiddos have gotten bigger! Here are some beginning of the year/end of the year pictures to enjoy.
