What a beautiful and fun week! In true March fashion we started wet and mucky, had incredibly crazy wind, it snowed, and we ended with some good sugaring weather.
A couple of important messages:
*I won't be here from Tuesday 3/15 through Monday 3/21. If you have messages to get to Bridget and Kristine and our guest teacher Joskarn, please call or email the front office - 254-2271, rbaker@wsesdvt.org. There will be no blog post next week!
*There is NO SCHOOL for pre-k Friday June 3rd. This is our visiting student day where we will welcome incoming pre-k students and families to our classroom and school. This applies just to pre-k.
*New district masking policy has been postponed - please make sure you read Superintendent Speno's email. Masking is still required next week.
*Sign up for spring conferences HERE!
Check out the pictures to learn more about our week:
There were some fun puddles in the woods on Monday.
Our paint thawed!
We had fun planting seeds with our Star of the Week.
We read a book about the postal service, and started brainstorming ways we could create a post office in our classroom. This kiddo got right to work!
Such a surprise to get so much snow on Wednesday.
These kiddos weren't upset!
We got to visit Farmer Sarah boiling our sap at school on Wednesday.
Then we got to see a MUCH bigger evaporator at the Franklin Farm on Thursday!
What a beautiful day for a field trip - thanks to all the families who were able to join us!
This stream crossing was a cinch - no electric fences or rushing water to navigate! :)
