Hi all - we've been so happy to be back together this week after such a long break! We've enjoyed some beautiful play both inside and out. Here are a couple of important notes about the upcoming weeks:
*We're going on a field trip! On Thursday 3/10 we'll head to the Franklin Farm to see the animals and check out their sugaring operation. Send back the permission slips as soon as you can.
*I'm going to be out of school from Tuesday 10/15 through Monday 10/21. My little brother is getting married in Montana!
*Spring conferences are just around the corner on the afternoons of Friday 3/25 and Monday 3/28. Stay tuned for sign ups.
Just a couple of pictures from this short week. Enjoy!
We tapped a maple tree on Wednesday with Farmer Sarah.
Everyone got to use the hand crank drill to help make the hole.
No sap yet, but hopefully we'll have some this weekend!
Snow restaurant!
Exploring the woods after a big snow is the MOST fun.
Building a snow pile for a tunnel.
The tunnel collapsed, so it turned into a slide!
These kiddos were very excited to get buried.
One kiddo brought a cow tooth to school on Wednesday! We had a great time making observations and doing some drawings. These two are working on tracing around the outside of it.
