Valentine's Sweetness

I'll leave you for the vacation with a load of pictures! We loved celebrating Valentine's Day with your children, and had some fun reading lots of Jan Brett books this week. Have a great vacation, and we'll look forward to seeing you again on Monday February 27th.

Trying to tempt the squirrels (and other animals?) with some corn. No takers yet!

This crew worked for a long time to create a miniature city made from sticks.

Taking care of a hurt bear in our vet clinic.

A favorite place in the woods.

This week we tried YELLOW fruits and veggies with Farmer Sarah, as we eat our way through the rainbow. This kiddo is eating some pineapple.

A short expedition lead us to some fun track and scat discoveries.

Blocks never get old!

The animals didn't want corn, so maybe cheerios?

This kiddo strung 70 cheerios on her string - wow!

Turns out the animals do like cheerios - they were all gone the next day!

A new stick headed for the fort.

Pussywillow buds in February?! The kiddos were excited to find them, and dubbed this bush the "Guinea Pig Nibble Nose" plant. :)

Puddles make for the most fun

Friday fire with kindergarten. Ms. Hansen brought a special treat - ask your child about it!

Puddle focus!
