What a fun week in pre-k! We loved our visits to the Guilford Store. Traveling in small groups made the trip so engaging for the students, and gave them each an opportunity to be a real customer, ordering and paying with real money. We came back with lots of ideas to incorporate into our own Sugar Shack Cafe. BIG thanks to Hezekiah's mom Raylene and Aunt Cassie for giving us a great behind the scenes tour!
Ticks are out! A couple of kiddos have already had ticks embedded, so time to start those nightly tick checks.
Tomorrow I'll have a table with a "wand making" activity set up at this fun Month of the Young Child event:
19th Annual Young Children’s Art Exhibit Opening Event
Saturday, April 8, 10:00-12:30 – Living Memorial Park, 61 Guilford St, Brattleboro
Come enjoy the work of our community’s youngest artists! Early childhood educators will be displaying their students’ artistic creations. Hands-on activities, refreshments, and information on resources in our community will be available. The Brattleboro Food Co-op, Southern Vermont Natural History Museum, The Nature Museum of Grafton, Cheshire Children’s Museum, Early Learning Express Bookmobile, and performances by local musicians Robin Morgan & Ernesto Sanchez. I'd love to see you there!
