We've had a particularly special week, with a focus on adding music to our song lyrics. We had a different guest musician each day of the week; a HUGE thanks to Miranda Bohl on cello, John Gagnon (Mr. G!) on guitar, Matt Valentine (MV&EE, Wet Tuna) on guitar, and Mike Roberts (Wooden Dinosaur, Rear Defrosters) on guitar. Each child had a chance to visit the "songwriters workshop" and work on an original song from their songbook. You can hear the results below.
Note: the sound technician (yours truly!) got much better at recording over the course of the week - the earlier recordings aren't great. And none of the recordings truly capture the magic of being with these incredible musicians in person!
